Well, Miss big 2-year-old Mia's birthday bash was a blast, I'd say. We had tons of people, tons of food, and tons of fun! Amelia was loving all the action, and all her cousins and friends. She had SO much fun. For the first few guests arriving, she ran - as fast as she possibly could - to the door and then she would say "(whoever it was) come in, come in!" It was adorable. Once a few people were here though, she was too distracted to answer the door anymore :) Even though it wasn't the prettiest thing in the world, I was pretty proud of the princess castle cake I made for her! And she wore her beautiful blue princess dress that Carissa made for her. She looked magical. She and the girls had a dance party in her room and she learned how to say "boogie down."She had so much fun with all the kids. And what a haul -- she'll be occupied with all her new toys for quite a while I think. She absolutely loves everything... we have very generous families and friends. She loves to hang out in her beanbag chair, and she put her Cinderella chair right in to her new Disney princess tent/fort. That thing is MASSIVE, by the way. She's been pushing around her doll and her puppy in the doll stroller - and chicco, seriously. It's SO cute. Of course, yes, she also LOVES to put her real baby, her sister, in there and take a walk to (pretend) the park. On Sunday we got everything all set up - and oh what a fun day we had! She played at her easel and on her dance mat. We played the princess memory game. Derek gave her the sock monkey - and she loves it! I do, too. It's awesome. What a classic toy. She also got a little table and chairs for her room, and a tea set! And tons of clothes and PJs. And a set of Disney books, and some princess dishes. I have pictures galore and I'm sure there will be more in future posts.

"I'm 2!" (Oh, it's hard to bend those fingers for two...)
