The Weekend with Nat and Jay

I have no pictures... I wasn't there. This was the girls' big weekend with Natalie and Jay.
Nat, if you have pics, send 'em over. :)
Oh wait, I lie! I have one picture--see below. Hilarious.
The girls - super lucky girls - were whisked away Saturday morning by Nat and Jay. First order of business: a playdate with Bob, one of Mia's favorite friends - even though they've only hung out a couple of times. Bob is Jay's nephew. He just turned two, and he is so adorable. Amelia just loves him. I'm sure Ali was trying to get in on the action. They also went to the Guthrie to the bridge, the Stone Arch Bridge and had dinner and made brownies, played, watched a movie, books, coloring, more playing... and oh-my-goodness just had the best day ever is what it sounds like. Nat & Jay are way too much fun.

Licking the beaters, and her fingers! Yummy... brownies.

Super SUPER lucky Mom & Dad had a full day, night, and morning of utter freedom. It was blissful. We got some stuff done around the house, ran some errands, went out for lunch, watched a movie and some TV on DVD we'd been trying to catch up on, chilled out, played some cards, slept in and drank our coffee while very peacefully reading the paper. It was awesome.

Seriously. Awesome. THANKS AGAIN NAT & JAY! :)

Mia hasn't stopped talking about Nat & Jay. She loves to tell me that Nat & Jay are getting married. I can't really type out how she says the word "married," but it's pretty funny. She also keeps wondering where Bob is, where Bob's carseat is, and why we took it out of our car? She wonders this in a way that's like *uh-duh, we should have Bob's carseat in our car so Bob can come with us any old time.*
