Aaahhh, NAPTIME

So, yesterday Mia refused outright to go down for a nap. Then, of course she fell asleep the minute the wheels started rolling when we went to get JD from work. Today, we were busy! We went to Target and then we played hard all morning. We filled the splash table and the little pool and we didn't come in for lunch until 12:15. She was nearly falling asleep in her high chair, but then when I went to put her down it looked like it was going to be a repeat of yesterday. And, I'm thinking, "Crap, we're going to have to load Ali up in her carseat and go for a ride if I want this girl to take a nap." But, I decided to give the "mom can't lay down with you, stay in your bed, close your eyes, and take a nap" one more try... and, amazingly enough... sweet success! Now, we'll have to see if we can work this day after day, or if I just got lucky this time. It was so cute though - when I went to check on her after about 5 minutes, she was half under her blanket (little diaper'd buns and legs hangin' out) holding her baby (who was also covered) in her arm. She cracks me up.
