The Boys

The boys were here Saturday. It was so much fun. We had an action packed and crazy fun day. Mia was so excited when the boys got here. She runs to the door, and says "HI Boys! How you doning?" then she tells them to come in, and trys to get them to dance with her to the Doodlebops video she's watching. So frickin' cute. And she had been waiting all morning to show them her room. "Boys pay Mia room, toys" which I can only assume means that she wanted the boys to play with her in her room with her toys. And oh, they did! They jumped on the bed, and off the bed. Which when we asked them not to do, they said ok, then shut the door (actually, I think Mia did that ;) and kept on jumping. Mia told JD and I to stay out a few times, actually. They were having fun. Amelia didn't want mom & dad embarassing her in front of her friends. At one point, all three of them were under Mia's bed. Mia has never been under her bed before - so that was a milestone of sorts. It was just so cute how they played together. JD busted out his old (and I mean very old, from when he was a kid - he, he!) keyboard and they all played with that and danced to it's only demo song (wake me up before you go-go)... which we heard about a zillion times. I'm not sure I'll ever get that song out of my head. They all have some pretty smooth dance moves. Again, it was funny. And cute. Then we went to the MN Zoo - that was fun, but it was a zoo letmetellya! Saturday, afterall. After that it was lunch and quiet time (until the boys conned JD in to playing downstairs instead ;) Mia didn't have a nap - she was just having WAY too mych fun. She either calls the boys by their names, which she says pretty well now, or "boy" in the singular if she's talking to just one of them. I think that's hilarious. "Boy, come in, snack time!" In the afternoon we went over to Dama & Poppa's house for a bonfire and carving pumpkins. We had a messy blast! And we made pie iron pizzas and smores - yum! Here are some pics from Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with the boys. More stories to come-but I want to get this posted...
