The Big Weekend

We did have a doozy. Mia got her stitches out - ouch! But she's healing very well. Benny gave Mia her Disney Princess laptop, which Mia loves to pieces and has been coveting for months. That was SO sweet. She has been busy "working" ever since. She tells JD and I to "GO AWAY" quite often these days. We tell her, "that's not nice, say 'please leave.'" And she usually says "pease." Mia and Ali slept over night at Grandma & Grandpa's -- Ali's first over night. That's big time. She was up at 4 am for a bottle. Not sure if Grandma and Grandpa are willing to do it again until she's sleeping completely through the night ;) Then, we had Nic's 30th birthday party - isn't she OLD?? (just kidding, Nic!) It was a blast. Natalie and Jay made a slideshow with all these old pictures we found and it was awesome. Oh, the many funny faces of Nicole. Decades worth. ;) Sunday morning we had a delicious brunch at the other Grandparents Dan & LeAnne's and got to hang with all the cousins! In the afternoon Matt, Trace and Madison came over. The girls snuggled on the couch and watched "Mermerd" and Dora. Then, they were cool cats who wear their sunglasses at night. And in the house. Too funny. Oh, and Ali cut her first tooth!! Front, bottom left. It's just barely through the gum.
