Bye, bye Metrodome

As you know we've been enjoying the Gopher football games live at the Dome this fall... Saturday evening JD and I went with Mom & Dad to the last Gopher game at the Metrodome. Unfortunately the game was terrible-we lost 55 to zip. Sure was a memorable last game at the ol' dome. Next year we'll be freezing our buns off in the new open air stadium. The girls didn't come to this game-they had an overnight with Dama Poppa Dahl! We had a great night despite the devastating loss. After the game we drowned our sorrows at Toast! Yummy food and wine. Sunday morning we were treated to brunch at the bowling alley, and we got to see Chad, Tiff, B and the other Mia and BDama&Poppa, and Denny and Laura. JD cleaned out the garage and now two cars can fit in. Perfect timing, as it's getting COLD. I'm glad we're headed to sunny Florida in two weeks. Too bad we can't hide out there until spring. The update on the girls is lacking this week. They're cute as ever I can tell you that. Miss Mia is talking up a storm. She plays her cds in the boombox now and sings and dances - she loves it. She loads and unloads her dvds whenever she wants. She's too smart. Ali is really getting in to playing - the concentration is so funny, she's getting pretty good at the hand-eye coordination. And she's getting ready to start on rice cereal. I picked some up at the store, so any day now....
No pics-sorry. I'll try to post some later today.
