Farm Babies

Yesterday we went to the zoo to see the farm babies. :)
The girls have been sick, crabby, and we needed something fun to get everyone out and entertained.
It was so much fun~Mia had a little baby goat lick her finger and she thought it was hysterical. Ali joined in the giggle-fest... so much so that Mia thinks Ali liked the baby goats the best. We saw "little tiny baby piggies" (which is so cute being said, but only really understandable to mom), chicks, the baby goats, baby sheep, baby bunnies (which Mia petted, and also loved). Then we did our normal zoo track, skipping the MN Trail unfortunately, and ate our picnic lunch. Mia didn't want to leave, but we had to head home for nap time. Mia ended up taking a good long one, after much fuss was put up. Alice decided she'd only sleep if it was while I was holding her. I didn't mind too much ;)
In the late afternoon, we played outside with our neighbor friends Kamryn and Devin. JUST SO HAPPY IT'S NICE OUT AGAIN-and, hoping (again) it stays that way! Poor Devin broke his arm on Friday night. He loved to tell the story though. So cute.
Then we went with to watch Dad play roller hockey at Highland. It was COLD in the rink so we only made it through the first half, but it was pretty funny. Amelia loved climbing around on the bleachers, and she cheered for her dad so sweetly. At first it was "Go hockey go!" and then "SO CLOSE DADDY!! So close!"

last picture-when Ali gets mad, she gets M-A-D!
