Tuesday Mia had her first official day of preschool. All by herself, as she will proudly tell you. She had a great time. When we were driving there, she told Ali and me that she'd miss us while she was at school. I said we'd miss her, too and she asked if we were going to cry. I said "no, probably not." And she started giggling. I tried giving her two kisses goodbye, and she was like "Mom, I already gave you a kiss!" (Go away!) When we picked her up, she was so excited to show us the Clifford project she had made, and the painting she made for me. And to tell me about the new friend she made... "MOM, Mom! Now we have TWO Natalies. A little Natalie-that's her in the blue shirt-and YOUR Natalie. Bemember we went to her house last time?!" Pure excitement.

Tuesday night we had dance. Ali's first night of dance class. And Mia in the big girl class. They were both so excited. Ali was literally jumping up and down in excitement for an hour before her class started (while Mia danced) and then during her class in between every little move or whatever they did - jumping up and down with excitement. Mia got new ballet shoes, because her class practices tap and ballet (but they just tap in the recital). Ali is in the Bouncy class-which is just so precious. My first dance, Mia's first dance... Ali's first dance. Pretty cool. She's the youngest in her class, but I think she's going to be just fine.

Wed we took Great Grandma to get her hair done, and we had the draft for the Wild season tickets- fun! Today Mia had her second day of preschool, and here we are...we've got a busy weekend planned, and then next week it starts all over!
